Life is too short to wake up in the morning with regrets. So love the people who treat you right, forget about the ones who don't. Believe that everything happens for a reason. If you get a chance, take it. If it changes your life, then let it. Nobody said it'd be easy, they just promised it'd be worth it.

Done At Last

I slept late the day before the exam, coz I was still trying to review. So, I only had 4 hours of sleep. I almost slept through the whole morning, if not for my mom. I did alarm my clock around 4:30am but I accidentally dozed off. It was my mom who woke me up at 5:30am, and she was so pissed coz we needed to catch the 6:08 train to New York. She was all panicky, while me on the other hand, moved like we're not in a hurry. Don't ask me why, coz I myself am not sure of the answer.

Anyways, we almost missed our train, but it could have been fine actually. The 6:08 train will arrive in NY around 7:12, which I think was still early for the 8:00am assembly time. We could have taken the next train and we could still arrive on time. So there, got to New York's Hotel Pennsylvania early, not so fancy though.

There were a lot of people in the halls of the Skytop Ballroom, others were still reviewing, while others were just standing and staring at people. Lots of pinoys too.

My experience with the CGFNS was a little disappointing. We all arrived at the prescribed time, while the staff kept everybody waiting. I felt sorry for thoses who had to travel for hours just to get to NY for the exam and those who have been waiting since 6 in the morning. On the other hand, during the orientation, the proctor looked like he doesn't know what he was doing. He kept reading the instructions about filling up the forms, without stopping. Not even considering the fact that each item takes times to be filled out.

The examination was handwritten, just like the NLE, and was made up of two parts: AM and PM sessions. After the morning session, my head was already hurting from all the thinking. The exam seemed easy actually. Questions were the basics, but to be honest, I had a hard time. The options were all confusing, so I really don't know where I stand. I had the same feeling with the afternoon session. I was just so relieved after the exam, that it was all over.

I'm really hoping to pass this test, coz I don't want to disappoint my parents and I can't afford to waste more time, a lot were already wasted in the past.

Currently, I'm just waiting for the results, which will be out in the next 6-10 weeks. Bummer right? Anyway, it doesn't matter as long as I pass. And hopefully by that time, everything else goes well.
